PROBLEM
FacebookCRM strategists recognized a gap missing from current Fan Page sites and set out to develop software applications that what would distinguish brands from their competitors and engage their customers in unique interactivity. The Fan Page needed to be geared towards connecting individuals with the brand that are right for them, not only by helping them locate the content they already want, but by alerting them to the content they are bound to enjoy.
By researching disparate online fan pages, we identified two areas of focus for the fan page application: ease of navigation and sense of community. By improving these features, FacebookCRM would give users the satisfaction of managing their own fan experience: easily voting, interacting and writing reviews and comments.
Simple Usability, Complex Functionality
A multi-disciplinary team of digital media designers, analysts, and technologists work closely on the application for continuous improvement, combining their varied knowledge to push the boundaries of Facebook design and policy regulation. With the design and the back-end code developing in parallel, no capability is left unexplored.
The team created a powerful UI design from which users can direct their own content: the Facebook Fan environment brought alive. The application allows both interactive voting and fan participation along with general browsing, with a visual interface that invites the wanderings of an in-person visit to an interactive store. As individuals interact, the application provides valuable information for the corporation for future interactivity. This generates a list of personal customer life cycle tracking and scoring for each, used in the future for identifying fan advocacy.
